Koh Lipe is a small island in the South of Thailand. It is located about 60 kilomters from the mainland in the Andaman Sea. Koh Lipe is famous for it's white sandy beaches and amazing marine life.
There are 3 main beaches on Koh Lipe:
Sunrise Beach is located just 200 meters from San Pita Resort. It is a long stretch of white sand facing east with great snorkeling right from the beach. Pattaya Beach is where most boats arrive in high season. It's white powdery sand and perfect bay shape are the main attraction. Watching the sun go down at Sunset Beach is a ritual we can recommend to any visitor of Koh Lipe.
For more information about Koh Lipe visit the Koh Lipe Thailand website.
Koh Lipe can be reached all year from Pak Bara, with 2 boats going every day. In high season boats go 3 times a day to Pak Bara, and there are also boats and connections to Langkawi, Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi, Krabi, Phuket and many more destinations in the South of Thailand.
Koh Lipe is famous for it's white sandy beaches and it's amazing underwater world. You can snorkel right from all the beaches or take a longtail boat on a daytrip to the nearby islands of the Adang Archipelago.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars on Koh Lipe, and most of them are in walking distance from San Pita Hotel.
